Our services

Two paths, guided by clarity and trust: we connect families with programs and specialists and support them along the way. We also host social gatherings and outings for children and teenagers aged 9 to 17.

Connecting families with specialists

We make it easier for families to find programs and licensed professionals in the UAE and abroad, drawing on our direct experience and the experiences shared by the Lammatna community. We help families understand their options, prepare, and communicate. The final choice remains theirs.

  • Meetings with the family alone, mostly online, to learn about Lammatna’s role or to communicate with the chosen program or specialist with us present.
  • Meetings with the family and their children, mostly in person, to get acquainted or to work with the program or specialist with the family present.
  • When we assist in implementing assessments or treatment plans, we do so under the supervision of a licensed specialist. Lammatna does not conduct specialist assessments or develop treatment plans.

Gatherings & outings | Ages 9–17

We call our online gatherings Lammat (singular: Lammah) and our in-person outings Tal‘at (singular: Tal‘ah)—warm, familiar Emirati Arabic words for gatherings. These social, interactive gatherings are filled with humour and discovery, where children and teenagers share their interests, skills, and discoveries. We supervise each Lammah and Tal‘ah and choose activities with the participants, respecting their privacy and their own way of taking part.

  • Online Lammat: 60–80 minutes, with a maximum of 6 participants. Participants need to be able to use their device, navigate, and play independently. The first introductory Lammah lasts 30–60 minutes.
  • Outings / Tal‘at: approximately two hours, with up to 6 participants. A parent or someone authorised by the family must accompany children aged 12 or younger.
  • We pay attention to whether each participant feels comfortable and is enjoying themselves, and contact the family when needed to help make the experience a good fit.

When and how we meet

  • Lammat take place weekly, with two gatherings (Lammitain) per participant each week. Times are posted on the calendar once participants have been placed in groups.
  • Families can book a first Lammah, then choose from the available regular times when they are announced.
  • A Lammah will still go ahead even if only one participant joins. If no one joins within 20 minutes, it will be cancelled.
  • A Tal‘ah will still go ahead even if only one participant comes. If no one arrives within 30 minutes, it will be cancelled. Outings are announced once the location and group have been confirmed.
